Meet Your Coaches

Unlike many fitness studios and personal trainers, InMotion requires all of our coaching staff to have a bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Strength & Conditioning, or Physiology, and/or hold one of the top nationally accredited personal training certifications.

We provide success-driven guidance from experienced industry-leading fitness and sports coaching experts. All our professionals are required to maintain a nationally accredited certification pertaining to their service or have a college-degree in the fitness field. Your coach will be result-oriented while keeping sessions entertaining, motivating, and consistent. We strongly believe we can help our clients see how exercise should be a necessary part of everyone's lifestyle for physical longevity and mental well-being, not only in theory, but through experiencing the benefits of training in our own lives.


Moon Mook (Owner/Fitness Professional)

Moon has always felt the need to help people live happier, and after experiencing the physical and mental health benefits of exercise himself, he knew fitness would be his method of doing so. He began his fitness coaching journey coaching young athletes in tennis and boxing, and soon after receiving his first personal training certification, opened up Professional Home Fitness (2015). After a couple years of experience in the field he opened up his first studio location in Shrewsbury (2017) and quickly rebranded to what is now known as InMotion Personal Training (2018). Moon has coached a wide variety of clientele to success through the tutorship of many personal training 'gurus'. His innate obsession for getting others to move, feel, and look their best, quickly turned his passion into his life's mission.

RICKY LA VACHE (FITNESS PROFESSIONAL)

  • Master’s in Physical Education, Strength & Conditioning - Bridgewater State University

  • Bachelor’s in Sports Medicine, Health Sciences - Norwich University

  • NSCA Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist

Ricky has been in the strength & conditioning field for over ten years and has gained valuable experience training a wide variety of clientele from young athletes all the way up to olympians, as well as the general population. Whether it’s working on athletic development, or simply wanting to live life pain-free, he does his best to provide them with all the tools to not only make them feel accomplished physically, but to also feel the positive effects mentally and emotionally that will improve their longevity and durability.

Alex Maillet (Fitness professional)

Alex has a passion for movement. From recreational sports to general pass-time activities, he would always rather be active than sitting around. A favorite activity of his is Disc Golf as it gets his friends and family involved in fitness as well. He wants to be able to continue moving for himself and with others for as long as he can and would like to help you do the same! By tackling the fundamentals of proper movement patterns with you, he hopes to have everyone moving their best for as long as possible.

Erik Frank (Fitness Professional)

Erik has been doing personal training since 2022 and has worked with clients of all ages. He has been an athlete throughout his whole life which has developed his strong passion for fitness. He wants to help clients achieve results that will translate into their day to day life. Erik wants to create a fun workout environment, but also push people to become a better version of themselves.

Sierra Davis (Fitness Professional)

With nearly 10 years of experience in personal training Sierra is passionate about helping people feel stronger, healthier, and more, confident in everyday life. Her background ranges from weight loss and strength training to improving balance, mobility, and flexibility, all with the goal of making movement and daily life feel easier and more enjoyable. She believes that fitness should support your life, not take away from it, and strives to create sustainable, personalized approaches that help every client succeed.

Toan Le (Fitness Professional)

Experienced working with a wide range of clients, he focuses on improving movement, building strength, and boosting overall quality of life. Toan’s goal isn’t just to train you but to build a long lasting relationship and be the person you can count on through your fitness journey.

Jeff Savage (FITNESS PROFESSIONAL)

  • Personal Trainer

  • Pre/Post-Surgical Fitness Expert

Jeff has been in the industry of Personal Training for nearly 20 years. He's worked with pre-and-post surgical candidates, those in need of rehab from injury, as well as general weight loss and muscle gain. From Professional Athletes, Olympians, and moms, Jeff has a devotion for improvement and excitement for the journey. He also specializes with a gentle touch for those with physical and/or intellectual difficulties.
